EU SHIPPING

Due to current problems and severe delays relating to Brexit, I cannot guarantee any timescales for items sent to EU countries. All items will be fully insured, tracked and traced, and I will keep you informed of the whereabouts of your items as much as possible. Please be patient, and I hope this situation will become easier as time goes on.

COVID 19

Due to the current situation with Covid 19, some delays are to be expected with all shipping, national and international. Below I outline the timescales that I work to, however, some things are just out of my control. Please allow extra time for items to arrive.

So, how long will an order take to arrive?

Well, this will vary depending on your location.

UK deliveries - 5-10 working days (sometimes quicker!).

EU deliveries - up to 2 weeks

Rest of world up to 3 weeks.

Any hold-ups at Customs in the receiving country is unfortunately out of my control and any associated customs fees will be at the expense of the customer.

We aim to dispatch orders within 3 days of receiving payment. If your order is urgent, please get in touch and I can see what I can do.

What does the sales process look like?

Most paintings (originals and prints) on my website are available to buy through the shop feature, therefore you can add to basket/go to checkout, and purchase from there. You can select free postage for most items if you are in the UK, otherwise the shipping cost will be calculated at the checkout. Once payment is received, you will be emailed to confirm your order. Within 3 - 5 days, you will receive another email to confirm when shipment has taken place (including tracking details).

PRINTS

Prints will be sent directly from the printer, unless otherwise specified. They will either be rolled with acid-free tissue, in a sturdy cardboard tube, or sent flat, backed onto MDF, wrapped in recycled tissue paper, and in a cardboard envelope.

ORIGINALS

Original artwork will be sent directly from my studio, packaged carefully in sturdy packaging. I am very environmentally conscious and will reuse cardboard packaging whenever possible. I use plastic-free and recyclable tape too, so please pop it in the recycle bin after unpacking.

COURIERS

Most items will be sent through Royal Mail, although larger items may need to be sent with a specialist Fine Art courier and may incur additional fees (set out at checkout).

Can I collect?

You are very welcome to collect any original or framed (if applicable) artwork from my studio in Inkberrow, Worcestershire. You can select 'Collection' at the checkout, and I will contact you to arrange a convenient time. This is a good way to go if you are in a hurry and don't want the uncertain timescales of posting, or if the artwork is large and you do not want to incur extra delivery costs. If you are not local, I can recommend places to visit nearby, if you would like to make a nice day out of the trip.

Can I purchase a larger size print than what is in your store?

Probably, yes. Maximum resolution scanning and photography does allow for printing very large images, and so I may be able to offer sizes larger than the standard ones I have in try store. I would need to speak with my printer to give a quote, so please contact me directly and I will be happy to organise this.

What is a Giclée print?

Paintings are either professionally scanned, or photographed using a high-resolution digital camera, to ensure the best quality image and colour match possible. A segment of each painting is then printed to assure colour matching is exact, and if changes are needed then it is printed again until the match is perfect. After that, the settings are saved, and each print is created as required. Specialist pigment based archival inks are then used to spray the image onto carefully selected archival and acid free paper. This creates a high-quality print, widely accepted by art buyers, galleries and museums as archival, collectable art pieces.

Does the artwork come framed?

As framing needs are very individual to each person and their interiors, I do not offer this as standard on my website. If you need this service, please get in touch to discuss your requirements, and I can provide a quote prior to purchasing. Otherwise:

CANVAS

Original canvas artwork comes unframed but ready to hang with cord and D-rings attached across the back. It is the buyer's responsibility to hang the artwork securely on the wall using whatever mechanism needed for the type of wall it will be going on. However, I have found that most canvases are light enough to be hung on a sturdy picture hook.

PASTELS

Original pastel artwork must be protected before being posted, to ensure the unfixed top layer is not disturbed. I send these specially mounted, ready for framing when they arrive. They need to be framed with real glass, as the static from any acrylic 'glass' will pull the unfixed pastel dust towards it.

If you need advice or have any questions, I'm always at the end of a phone or computer.

Do you offer commissions?

Yes, I do. I absolutely love working on commissions and make myself available to discuss your every need. You may already have a specific colour palette, size, or subject matter in mind, or you may need help to work out what would suit you space. Either way, I will invite you for a free initial consultation, before writing out a proposal, including what you want to feel when you see your painting, what size it needs to be, any colours you would like, along with preliminary timescales and costs.

After that, I begin the research and development work, at which point I begin to realise your ideas. Working together, you can steer the direction of the artwork until you are happy with an outcome, or you can leave it to me to take control, it is entirely up to you. When all the elements are decided, I then proceed to work on the final piece, again keeping you informed of progress if you desire.

I have worked with interior designers as well as individuals, so if you need any advice throughout the process, I have the experience to help.

Will the colours be exactly as I see them on my computer?

I spend a great deal of time working on the appearance of the colours on my monitor, as I want them to truly reflect that of the original painting. However, no matter how closely they match at my end, actual colours may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently. So please understand that although the difference is sure to be only slight, the actual colour may vary slightly from your monitor.

What is your refund policy?

You are welcome to approve original work only, for up to 14 days after receipt of it.

If, however, it does not meet with your expectations, you can return it for a full refund (minus shipping costs incurred). A refund will only be granted if the artwork is returned in its original condition without defect or damage. Return delivery costs will be at the customer's expense and will need to be fully insured and tracked. Packaging in protective materials is of utmost importance so that the painting arrives back in perfect condition, if you have any questions about how to go about this please call 07914431382 or email charli@artyfarky.com

For all other purchases, prints and homewares, we cannot accept a return due to them being personalised goods. We do not refund orders for buyer's remorse. If a product arrives with a fault or any issue (including misprinted, damaged or defective) this must be reported immediately and within 7 days, by telephoning 07914431382, then emailing pictures of the fault to charli@artyfarky.com in the first instance.
